Did you know: For this year’s World Cup, a new ball was brought in for all of the games. It contains a sensor inside of it that collects spatial positioning data in real time so that it can make offside penalty reviews more accurate.
As with most technology though, it requires some power, so the balls need to be charged before each match. The future can look weird sometimes…
Here’s today’s rundown:

Week 13
TNF Recap: Buffalo Bills (9-3) at New England Patriots (6-6)
The Buffalo Bills, who have looked like one of the toughest teams in the whole league, were able to do something last night that they hadn’t done yet this season— win a division game.
The AFC East division leaders looked in full form against New England, who sit at the bottom of the division with their .500 record. Josh Allen made history last night, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to have multiple seasons of 25 passing TDs and 5 rushing TDs.
Bill Belichick, the man of many words, said “there’s a lot of things to do better” when speaking on the state of his Patriots.
Final Score: BUF 24 - NE 10
No Huddle’s Favorite Games
New York Jets (7-4) at Minnesota Vikings (9-2): Can the Jets maintain the Mike White magic that got it done for them last week?? They should hope so, as they’re going up against one of the toughest teams in the NFC. The newly named starter put up 315 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INTs in his debut, landing him a QBR of 149.3 🤯
The Vikings rebounded against the Patriots from a scary loss against the Cowboys in week 11, but no one thinks their running away with the rest of their schedule. They sit comfortably in the NFC playoff picture, while the Jets don’t have much room to spare for losses in a jam-packed division and tight conference.
Watch 📺: Sunday, 1:00 pm ET on CBS
Odds: MIN -3 | over/under 44.5
Tennessee Titans (7-4) at Philadelphia Eagles (10-1): “I feel like I won” is how Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown feels about heading to Philly this year after 3 seasons with the Titans. He’ll likely want to put on a show against his ex, so we’re keeping an eye on a big game from him on Sunday.
We can’t say it’ll be easy, though. The Titans’ defense has not allowed more than 20 points in eight straight games, something that hasn’t been done since 1993. Luckily for them, they have some cushion with their playoff spot as the AFC South isn’t too competitive this year. However, this could be a big statement road-win, and you should expect them to keep it close.
Watch 📺: Sunday, 1:00 pm ET on FOX
Odds: PHI -4.5 | over/under 44.5
Washington Commanders (7-5) at New York Giants (7-4): A little NFC East showdown to round out the 1 o’clock game previews. As it stands, all four of the division’s teams have a playoff spot in the NFC. That division has come a long way since 2020 when none of the teams finished with a winning record.
“Momentum gained meets momentum lost” is how we’d describe this matchup. Over the last 4 games, the Commanders have an unblemished record, while the Giants have only picked up 1 win.
Watch 📺: Sunday, 1:00 pm ET on FOX
Odds: WSH -2.5 | over/under 40.5
Miami Dolphins (8-3) at San Francisco 49ers (7-4): The student versus the teacher! For 14 of the last 16 seasons, first-year Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel spent his time in an assistant role to 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan. Now, the two meet for the first time as head coaches, with McDaniel touting the better record, and better odds at the title overall for this season.
Both teams come in HOT and on multiple-game winning streaks. The Dolphins in particular have not dropped a game since mid-October against the Vikings, where they were without starting QB Tua Tagovailoa. The Dolphins should be very, very concerned about the 49ers’ defense, though. Here’s a crazy stat— San Francisco has not allowed a single point in the 2nd half of their last 4 games.
Watch 📺: Sunday, 4:05 pm ET on FOX
Odds: SF -4 | over/under 46.5
Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) at Cincinnati Bengals (7-4): This was a game that everyone had circled at the start of the season, and rightfully so as it’s a rematch of the AFC Championship from last year, where the Bengals upset the Chiefs and punched their ticket to the Super Bowl.
The two meet in a familiar spot this year— the Chiefs being the team to beat and the Bengals playing with a chip on their shoulder, while also trying to surpass the Ravens to give them more security of a playoff spot in the AFC. Bengals QB Joe Burrow could become the first quarterback to beat Patrick Mahomes three times if they’re able to pull of a win Sunday afternoon.
Watch 📺: Sunday, 4:25 pm ET on CBS
Odds: KC -2 | over/under 53
Cleveland Browns (4-7) at Houston Texans (1-9-1): No big write-up for this one, but the situation is too interesting to not call out.
Cleveland Browns QB will be making his season debut on Sunday after serving an 11-game suspension for sexual misconduct that went down while playing for his former team, which is the Houston Texans, which is where the game is at as well…
Watch 📺: Sunday, 1:00 pm ET on CBS
Odds: CLE -7 | over/under 47
Other Week 13 Games:
Pittsburgh Steelers at Atlanta Falcons: Sunday, 1:00 pm ET on CBS (PIT -1)
Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens: Sunday, 1:00 pm ET on CBS (BAL -8.5)
Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears: Sunday, 1:00 pm ET on FOX (GB -3.5)

College Football
Conference Championships
Pac-12 Championship: #11 Utah vs #4 USC: The Utah Utes and the USC Trojans will meet for the second time this season in Las Vegas, Nevada tonight. If their first meeting back in October is any indication of how this game will go, it should be pretty electric.
Utah bested USC by one point earlier this season in a barnburner of a game (43-42). Utes QB Cameron Rising rushed into the end zone with less than a minute left for a two-point conversion, soiling USC’s undefeated record up to that point. It’s safe to say that the Trojans are out for revenge now. They’re having their best season since 2008 (when Pete Carroll was their head coach) and have the Heisman front-runner at quarterback, Caleb Williams. They’re also currently in the CFP, so a win against another ranked opponent will keep their resume strong.
The Trojans have the upper hand on offense, although both teams sport overall offenses in the top 10. Defense, however, is where Utah has the advantage, ranking 19th in points allowed per game, and 17th in rushing yards allowed. Throw out team records this season - it will simply come down to who wants it more. You won’t want to miss this one.
Watch 📺: Friday at 8:00 pm ET on FOX
Odds: USC -2.5 | over/under 67
Big 12 Championship: #10 Kansas State vs #3 TCU: The TCU Horned Frogs will take on the Kansas State Wildcats for the second time this season, this time for a conference championship. TCU is one of three teams still undefeated on the season (UGA and Michigan are the others), and this year marks just their 3rd season sporting that flawless record.
But this game is being viewed as a must-win for TCU. A win would solidify their berth into the CFP, but a loss gives Ohio State a chance to still sneak in. You cannot discount what Kansas State brings to the table, however. Back when these two first met in late October, the Wildcats carried a comfortable (maybe too comfortable) 28-17 lead going into halftime. But TCU did what they do best and wound up shutting them down in the second half, scoring three touchdowns and allowing zero. This matchup is a must-watch and could turn into another offensive shootout.
Watch 📺: Saturday at 12:00 pm ET on ABC
Odds: TCU -2.5 | over/under 62
SEC Championship: #14 LSU vs #1 Georgia: A classic championship game hosted at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia welcomes a familiar face once again this season: the Georgia Bulldogs. The no. 1 ranked Bulldogs have made an appearance in the SEC championship 5 out of the last 6 years. This time, however, they will not face Nick Saban’s Alabama - who has appeared in 7 of the last 10 SEC championships. The LSU Tigers will instead be their competition, and they are making just their second appearance in the last 10 years.
Despite the hype around this game, it really doesn’t matter all too much who the winner is. Georgia is virtually guaranteed to make the CFP irrespective of the outcome. LSU also doesn’t truly have a chance to make a CFP berth, but more so a chance to make a statement on a national stage. What does air a bit of concern is the fact that the last two times these two teams met, LSU triumphed over the Bulldogs by a net score of 73-26. Regardless of what’s at stake with this matchup, it should make for one of the more solid conference championship matchups.
Watch 📺: Saturday at 4:00 pm ET on CBS
Odds: UGA -17.5 | over/under 52.5
Big Ten Championship: Purdue vs #2 Michigan: The Purdue Boilermakers will face the Michigan Wolverines for the first time this season despite being in the same conference. Even though Michigan earned a statement win over Ohio State last week, they still need to view this game as a must-win given Purdue’s 8-4 record on the season.
Purdue, however, is notorious for being “top-25 killers” and has already taken down two top-25 teams this season (Minnesota in Week 5; Illinois in Week 10). This is Purdue’s very first appearance in a Big Ten championship and is potentially the biggest stage they’ve played on so far. Michigan is still without their star RB, Blake Corum, due to injury, but their backup Donovan Edwards showed he’s more than capable of carrying the baton when he put up NUMBERS against OSU last week (216 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and 2 receptions). Can the Boilermakers keep their reputation for killing giants? Only time will tell…
Watch 📺: Saturday at 8:00 pm ET on CBS
Odds: MICH -17 | over/under 52
